Julie's Graduation!

On Saturday, my (Amy's) sister, Julie, graduated from high school! The ceremony was held Saturday morning, with her open house on Sunday afternoon.
Above, Julie receives her diploma.
We are so proud of her!
When Sunday morning rolled around, it was time to set up for the open house. Many family members and friends volunteered to help out, and we are very grateful for them!

Here, one of my cousins prepares a 'welcome' sign. Notice the spelling? Pretty cute, huh?

Above are just some of the cakes made by sweet friends and family for the occasion. We had 22 cakes in all! Julie loves cake, so she requested that we have several kinds to choose from. They were delicious!

This is my family, posing for a quick photo opp. during the open house.

Julie, I am so glad you are my big sister. Your love for the Lord and desire to share your faith with others have set such an example for me through the years. Thanks for setting high standards and inspiring me to achieve them. Thank you for being my friend, mentor, and confidante. I have to admit I am secretly proud when people get mixed up and call me 'Julie,' because it is truly an honor to think that they could confuse the two of us. I look forward to learning from you, serving with you, and seeing God's love radiating from you in the years to come, as I have in years past. I love you!
